Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. This policy explains how cancellations, amendments and refunds are handled for Umrah and Hajj bookings with GM Travel.

How to cancel or amend

To cancel or change a booking, contact us as early as possible by phone, WhatsApp or email. Cancellations are effective from the date we receive your written request.

Cancellation charges

Because flights, hotels and visas are booked with third parties, cancellation charges depend on their individual terms and how close to departure you cancel. As a general guide:

• Airline tickets — charges are set by the airline and may be non-refundable once issued.
• Hotels — free cancellation may apply up to a certain date, after which charges increase closer to arrival.
• Visa fees — once a visa is processed or issued, the fee is generally non-refundable.
• Service fees — our administration fee may be non-refundable.

We will always tell you the exact charges that apply to your booking before you confirm a cancellation.

Refunds

Any refund due is processed back to your original payment method once we have received the corresponding refunds from airlines, hotels and other suppliers. Timescales depend on those third parties.

Changes by us

Occasionally circumstances outside our control — such as airline schedule changes or decisions by Saudi authorities — require us to amend arrangements. We will offer the closest suitable alternative and keep you informed throughout.

Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover, so you are protected against unexpected events.
