The Nusuk App Guide

Nusuk is the official Saudi platform for Umrah and Hajj. Here’s how to register, book your Rawdah and Haram permits, and manage your visa — explained simply.

Nusuk (formerly Eatmarna) is the Saudi government’s official app and website for planning worship in Makkah and Madinah. It is used to obtain the Umrah visa, book permits to pray in the Rawdah, reserve Haram time slots during busy periods, and access official Ziyarah experiences. Setting it up before you travel saves time and stress.

What you can do on Nusuk

Apply for an Umrah Visa
International pilgrims can request an Umrah visa directly, though we handle this for you as part of your package.
Book Rawdah Permits
Reserve a time slot to pray in the Rawdah at Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah — essential, as access is permit-controlled.
Haram & Prayer Permits
During peak times (especially Ramadan) Nusuk issues time-slot permits for the Haram and Tawaf.
Official Ziyarah
Browse and book approved guided tours of the historic sites in Makkah and Madinah.

How to set up Nusuk (step by step)

1

Download the app

Install “Nusuk” from the Apple App Store or Google Play before you travel. There is also a web portal at nusuk.sa.

2

Create your account

Register with your email and passport details. Verify your identity following the in-app prompts — use the exact name as it appears on your passport.

3

Add your details & photo

Upload a clear passport-style photo and complete your profile. This is used for permits and identity checks at the holy sites.

4

Book your Rawdah permit

In Madinah, open the Rawdah/Prophet’s Mosque section, choose an available slot and confirm. Slots are limited and released in advance — book as early as you can.

5

Show your permit on arrival

Present the QR code from the app at the relevant entrance. Keep your phone charged and the permit downloaded for offline access.

We process your Umrah visa for you — but we always recommend installing Nusuk so you can book your Rawdah permit and any Haram time slots yourself.

Need help with the Rawdah specifically? Read our dedicated Rawdah permit guide. For visa requirements, see Umrah Visa UK.

FAQs
Common Questions
Do I need Nusuk if I book a package with you?+
We handle your Umrah visa, but Nusuk is still strongly recommended — you’ll use it to book your Rawdah permit in Madinah and any Haram time slots during peak periods. We’ll guide you through it.
Is the Rawdah permit free?+
Yes — Rawdah permits are issued free of charge through Nusuk. Beware of third parties charging for them. Slots are limited, so book as soon as they open.
What’s the difference between Nusuk and Eatmarna?+
Nusuk replaced and expanded the older Eatmarna app. It now covers visas, permits, Ziyarah and more in one official platform.
Can I book Rawdah for my whole family on one account?+
Each pilgrim generally needs their own permit tied to their identity. You can manage multiple companions in some cases, but plan for individual bookings to be safe.
